Years ago, the only option dentists had to restore a decayed or damaged tooth was a metal filling. Today, dentists can restore a decayed tooth using tooth-colored fillings, or composite resin, that is durable, stronger and aesthetically pleasing.

At both of our facilities, North Hollywood and Montebello, the dentists at Pacific Dental Group offer their patients tooth-colored fillings that have certain advantages:

They are invisible and look better than traditional metal fillings
They are a non-invasive treatment that minimizes the risk of fracture
They bond directly to the tooth’s surface
They contain no mercury, like traditional fillings and are environmentally friendly.

In order to place a filling, the doctor removes the decay from the tooth and then applies the resin. The resin matches the color of your teeth, making them a perfect restoration for front or visible teeth in the back of your mouth.

“"Great Dentist, Great Staff. At 57 years-old, I've had several root canals, crowns, bridges, fillings, and extractions from many dentists, some who even advertise on radio. Having tooth-pain and not willing to wait 3 weeks for my regular dentist, I went to Dr. Julius in Montebello. I got an appointment the next day and two days later had major dental work on several of my teeth. (I just got home.)
